barometer 29.87 inches, adjusted altitude 2,307 feet. Hines is the only defending champion left in eliminations. Hines is 20-13 in final rounds and is in his third final this year with two wins. Phillips is 5-6 in final rounds and also has is in his third final this year with two wins.
Hines is 13 - 1 against Phillips in prior events and this is the first time they have faced each other in a final round.
Hines gets a 0.005 advantage off the line. Phillips gets out in front by sixty feet, only to be passed by Hines, who stays there until after mid-track by just a couple of thousandth, where the big Suzuki power gets him back in front to stay. He is the 2010 Pro Stock Bike Champion and set the National Speed record to top off the day.
