KENT, Wash. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 23rd annual NHRA Northwest Nationals:

Gray is 1 - 0 against Gaines in prior events.Gray with the starting line advantage and slows from his qualifying time, but still takes the win. Gaines got loose around half track and pushed in the clutch.

This is the first time Yonke and Johnson have faced each other in eliminations. Yonke with a slight starting line advantage, but Allen Johnson has the lead by 150 feet and then trails for the win. Johnson will have lane choice over Kurt Johnson in the next round.
