NORWALK, Ohio - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, Fourth annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Right Lane: John Gaydosh Jr Runs 6.960/197.74, Now #21; Best prior run: 6.932/198.80, Was #21
Weather conditions: air temperature 85 degrees, relative humidity 54 percent, barometer 28.90 inches, adjusted altitude 3,782 feet, track temperature 125 degrees.
Gaydosh was straight
down the groove, but doesn't improve.
Right Lane: Jim Cunningham Runs 6.769/203.49, Now #20; Best prior run: 6.750/203.92, Was #20
No help here for Cunningham and he will not get in the show.
Right Lane: Rickie Jones Runs 6.742/204.11, Now #17; Best prior run: 6.683/206.04, Was #17
Jones with a good short time, but will not get in the show. Rickie Jones' 60ft-0.986 sec.
Left Lane: Erica Enders Runs 6.770/204.66, Now #19; Best prior run: 6.701/205.76, Was #19
Right Lane: Justin Humphreys Runs 6.699/205.38, Now #16; Best prior run: 6.679/205.98, Was #16
Humphreys will not improve and he will stay on the bubble...Enders will not get in the show.
Left Lane: Vinnie Deceglie Runs 6.713/207.08, Now #18; Best prior run: 6.690/207.40, Was #18
Right Lane: Rodger Brogdon Runs 6.682/205.72, Now #14; Best prior run: 6.667/206.67, Was #14
Deceglie two weeks ago qualified number two and he will not get in the show here. Brogdon with a great pass here with these weather conditions the quickest of the round.

Right Lane: Larry Morgan Runs 6.742/204.32, Now #13; Best prior run: 6.636/207.69, Was #13

Coughlin with problems right off the starting line and coast on through the 1320. Johnson with a great pass, second quick of the session behind Brogdon. Allen Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-0.996 sec., 330ft-2.798, 660ft-4.302/164.01 mph, 1,000ft-5.598.

This was the final round of the K&N Horsepower Challenge. This was great pass for both of these guys as Edwards runs the quickest pass of the round and Anderson runs the third quickest pass of the session. Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.995 sec., 330ft-2.796, 660ft-4.297/164.11 mph, 1,000ft-5.593.
Mike Edwards' incremental times: 60ft-1.004 sec., 330ft-2.801, 660ft-4.299/164.47 mph, 1,000ft-5.589.
