NORWALK, Ohio - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, Fourth annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Jason Line Runs 6.695/206.29, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.620/208.62, Was #5
Right Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.661/207.30, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.592/208.97, Was #1
Weather conditions: air temperature 78 degrees, relative humidity 61 percent, barometer 28.95 inches, adjusted altitude 3,187 feet, track temperature 98 degrees.
These were the first
runs of the K&N Horsepower Challenge. A couple good runs but neither will improve.
Left Lane: Allen Johnson Runs 6.673/208.17, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.602/209.30, Was #2
Right Lane: Ron Krisher Runs 6.647/207.72, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.602/209.17, Was #3
