BRISTOL, Tenn. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 10th annual NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals:

Schumacher is 21 - 5 against Lucas in prior events. Lucas with a slight starting line advantage, but is up in smoke by 150 feet. Schumacher with a nice clean pass for the win, this is his 527th round win and that ties Joe Amato with second most round wins in Top Fuel.

Brown is 3 - 1 against Langdon in prior events. They leave together and then is was Brown with the lead and the win by 0.0284 seconds (approximately 12 feet).

Bernstein is 2 - 0 against Buff in prior events. Bernstein is out of the gate first and never trailed for the win. Bernstein will give up lane choice to Brown in the semifinal. Buff started mixing up cylinders and then it appears to have used up an engine as the Safety Safari is rolling.

Torrence is 3 - 2 against McClenathan in prior events. Torrence with a slight starting line advantage and then starts to smoke the tires and pedals it. Right when Torrence pedals it McClenathan starts to smoke the tires and he pedals it. McClenathan dropped a cylinder when he pedaled it but got it to hook up enough to take the win over Torrence. McClenathan will give up lane choice to Schumacher in the semifinal.
