11:14 a.m. - Dixon is 9 - 3 against Brown in prior events and Dixon is 2 - 1 against Brown in prior final rounds. Brown was quicker out of the gate and well ahead at 60 feet but then the rear tires of his dragster went up in smoke at 330 feet. Dixon had a clean run down the groove in the other lane for the win in his 11th appearance in the final round here at Englishtown. It was the 98th final round in Dixon's career and his 54th win.
