Hight is 3 - 1 against Hagan in prior events and 1 - 0 against Hagan in prior final rounds. Hight is looking to extend a three-race win streak, Hagan is looking for his second event win. Hagan outran Hight in the semifinals and is looking for a 4.062 or better to back up his 4.022 as an ET record.

It was a great drag race, Hagan with a slight holeshot and another great run to claim the national ET record.
