POMONA, Calif. - Results of final, round 4 eliminations in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 50th annual Kragen O'Reilly NHRA Winternationals presented by Valvoline:

Severance is 1 - 0 against Demke in prior events and this is the first time they have faced each other in a final round. Demke is 0-8 in final rounds and was runner up here last year. Severance won at Las Vegas in 2007.

Demke nails the light with a stellar 0.009 RT and just power away from Severance. There was fluid off Severance's engine down track and he slows. Big time win for Demke to "get the monkey off his back"...
