This is the first time Deceglie and Humphrey have faced each other in eliminations. Humphrey with the starting line advantage and the power to hold on for the hole show win. Humphrey's car was skating around all the way down the track and Deceglie made a quick move toward the centerline and then reeled it in, but couldn't chase Humphrey down. Anderson is 30 - 17 against Johnson in prior events. Johnson with a starting line advantage, but then got real loose and over by the wall and then back over close to the centerline before he pushed in the clutch. Anderson matches his qualifying time for the win, and his fastest pass of the weekend.

Gray making his Pro Stock debut this weekend, and is making his first start. Gray and his father won the "Best Engineered Award". Gray with the big starting line advantage and never trailed for his first round win. He will give up lane choice to Anderson in round two. Krisher was late on the tree and then couldn't get the car to run the number.
