Mitch Smith & Jasper Engines & Transmissions announced today they will return to the NHRA circuit for the 2010 season for the 14TH Season together.

My words can't describe the excitement I feel. I still have the burning desire to race, and prefer to do it with Jasper Engines & Transmissions. This journey has allowed us to be a partner with Jasper Engines for more than a decade together which is a blessing; the associates at Jasper Engines are just like family to us.

Although the 2009 season did not prove as fruitful as did the 2008 season, we raced just as we did in 2008. Our parts breakage was kept to minimal, our GTO ran great, but as most champions know, 2009 was like racing with a bull's eye on our back! We brought out the best in all of our competitors this year, we have done this a long time, and we love it, and look forward to challenges of the sport.

As for our Sponsors, our goal has been the same since we started, Perform the best you can, maintain a quality presentation, Race on Sunday - Sell on Monday! We believe in that today and look forward to another successful season of fast Top-Sportsman action.

We will return with the same team and equipment that knows how to win. We have the same goals, and they are behind us 100%, which makes the partnership strong.

This partnership has taken us and continues to take us to great places, and meet great people. I enjoy making the most of these opportunities! Winning races and championships comes as a secondary achievement.
