Wed, 9 Dec 2009, 01:08 PM Mopar to Display NHRA Pro Stock Mopar Dodge Avenger at 2009 PRI Trade Show

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Team Mopar driver Allen Johnson's 2010 NHRA Pro Stock Mopar Dodge Avenger, revealed last month at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, will be on display this week near the Mopar Stage at the 22nd Annual Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show. Mopar will also display a number of "Moparized" vehicles and new Mopar parts in the Mopar exhibit on the PRI show floor. The trade show is scheduled to take place Dec. 10-12 at Florida's Orlando Convention Center.

Johnson's Pro Stock Mopar Dodge Avenger will be on display alongside "Big Daddy" Don Garlits' Dodge Challenger Drag Pak by Mopar vehicle near the Mopar Stage. Garlits received his Drag Pak, the first production Drag Pak by Mopar vehicle, at the 2008 PRI Show, and raced the car earlier this year in the Sportsman ranks at the NHRA Mac Tools U.S. Nationals. Both Johnson and Garlits will make an appearance in the Mopar display during the show.

Mopar will also play host to RaceFanRadio.com and GoRacingTV.com. For the third straight year, live content will originate from the Mopar Stage next to the food court, where numerous motorsports personalities will be interviewed by "RaceFanRadio's" Charlie Brown and "GoRacingTV's" Mike Collins and Peter Keane. Video coverage of the entire weekend will be available "On Demand" at GoRacingTV.com and RaceFanRadio.com the week following the event.

Event attendees can check out even more "Moparized" vehicles in the Mopar display on the main PRI show floor. Vehicles on exhibit will include the Dodge Challenger 1320 Image Vehicle, Jeep Wrangler Lower Forty Image Vehicle and the Liquid Metal Dodge Challenger Drag Pak by Mopar prototype. New Mopar parts on exhibit at the world's largest racing trade show include the Mopar 572 HEMI crate engine and three new all-aluminum versions of the popular 6.1-liter HEMI block.
