POMONA, Calif. - 9:20 a.m. - The most applicable line on today's race schedule is the one that reads, "SCHEDULE SUBJECT TO CHANGE."

Three pairs into the third round of Stock Eliminator qualifying, an aborted wheelstand led to a full-track oildown and it took the Safety Safari several tries, using several different techniques, before the slick stuff was removed and the track was safe for racing again.

We are now about an hour behind schedule and it is likely that several things scheduled for this morning will be run late this afternoon.

So be patient, we'll report it when it happens, but we're not sure exactly what the sequence will be.
