Easy win for Stephenson. The NHRA guys ran out and checked the track for oil, but no problems.

Heads up!

Angeles gets a big RT advantage off the line, but doesn't have the power to stay ahead of a charging Stubeck. He gets the car and a half length win.

9:51 a.m. Looks like Angeles Peri is stopped on the track. The Firebird spun out after the finish line and I am told that one of the front wheels is off the car. Not substantiated though.
