She won't be happy with the ET and Speed, but not too bad for a first pass on a new combination. Gruninger almost matches her times to move ahead of her by one spot. Left Lane: Vinnie Deceglie Runs 6.652/207.88, Now #1 Right Lane: Dave Northrop Runs 6.698/206.26, Now #2 We get our first six-sixties with Deceglie moving around a little down low. Left Lane: Ryan Ondrejko Runs 6.657/207.21, Now #2 Right Lane: Ronnie Humphrey Runs 6.663/208.75, Now #3 The Wiley X GXP joins the under one second club with a clean and straight pass into the current #2 spot. Humphreys is right behind him in numbers but has a not so good 0.214 sixty foot time. Ryan Ondrejko's incremental times: 60ft-0.984 sec., 330ft-2.781, 660ft-4.279/164.63 mph, 1,000ft-5.569. Ronnie Humphrey's incremental times: 60ft-1.002 sec., 330ft-2.803, 660ft-4.296/165.27 mph, 1,000ft-5.580. Left Lane: V. Gaines Runs 6.737/205.13, Now #7 Right Lane: Rodger Brogdon Runs 6.648/207.72, Now #1 Brogdon has a little wiggle at the sixty foot lights and still has the beans to take over the top spot. Gaines' times may not hold before we are done today. Left Lane: Warren Johnson Runs 6.671/207.88, Now #6 Right Lane: Larry Morgan Runs 6.655/207.94, Now #3 Two clan passes into the current top half of the show. Left Lane: Rickie Jones Runs 6.665/207.75, Now #7 Right Lane: Kurt Johnson Runs 6.653/207.85, Now #3 Erica Enders is on the bump spot at 6.798. The younger Johnson has a 0.984 sixty foot time and parlays it into a #3 qualifying spot. A resurgent Jones just misses the top half of the twelve car field. Rickie Jones' incremental times: 60ft-0.989 sec., 330ft-2.794, 660ft-4.292/164.51 mph, 1,000ft-5.580. Kurt Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-0.984 sec., 330ft-2.784, 660ft-4.280/164.85 mph, 1,000ft-5.568. Left Lane: Johnny Gray Runs 6.649/208.01, Now #2 Right Lane: Allen Johnson Runs 6.658/207.88, Now #7 Gray puts one up on the screen with a big MPH and into the current #2 spot. Johnson'stimes were comparable down dow, but he can't keep the pace after the 330 mark. Johnny Gray's incremental times: 60ft-0.988 sec., 330ft-2.783, 660ft-4.277/165.11 mph, 1,000ft-5.564. Allen Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-0.989 sec., 330ft-2.791, 660ft-4.287/165.25 mph, 1,000ft-5.574. Left Lane: Ron Krisher No Time, Now #19 Right Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 9.929/92.87, Now #18 Gordie Rivera is on the bump spot at 6.725. Well, that was weird! Krisher car just sits in the lights at the green and has to be pushed back by his crew. Coughlin has a fair leave and then has the Cobalt go wacky after sixty feet and he has to lift. Left Lane: Greg Stanfield Runs 6.659/208.26, Now #9 Right Lane: Jason Line Runs 6.655/208.62, Now #5 Both car jiggle around at the launch and then scoot down the track without any more drama. Good passes for tuning tomorrow. Left Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.647/206.20, Now #2 Right Lane: Mike Edwards Runs 6.637/209.46, Now #1 Warren Johnson is on the bump spot at 6.671. Well, is all but over, as soon as the two drivers saw green light. Edwards' pass gives him enough points to unofficially ensure the 2009 Pro Stock Championship. It will all be official on Saturday at the end of qualifying. Once again, Edwards power prevails with the quickest and fastest pass of the session. Anderson gets bragging rights for RT, but has to settle for the number two spot, both on the ladder and in the 2009 points. Two great looking passes Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.981 sec., 330ft-2.774, 660ft-4.264/164.71 mph, 1,000ft-5.555. Mike Edwards' incremental times: 60ft-0.987 sec., 330ft-2.789, 660ft-4.279/165.58 mph, 1,000ft-5.559. 2:19 p.m. Ronnie Humphrey is on the bump spot at 6.663.
