4:43 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 83 degrees, relative humidity 52 percent, barometer 29.17 inches, adjusted altitude 3,273 feet, track temperature 123 degrees.

Another run, same result, the rear tires were up in smoke beofre the car moved a car length past the starting line. Del Worsham's incremental times: 60ft-0.974 sec., 330ft-3.749, 660ft-6.752/076.88 mph.
