Whitaker left very early so Phillips took a slow ride down the track for the win. After the race, Phillips said his motorcycle had engine or transmission problems.

Krawiec and Arana have each won 3 times against the other in prior events. This time, Arana went red, so Krawiec will race Phillips in the final round and Krawiec will have lane choice.
