MOHNTON, Pa. - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 25th annual Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Steve Spiess Runs 6.728/203.95, Now #10; No Prior Run
Right Lane: V. Gaines Runs 6.822/202.64, Now #14; No Prior Run

Weather conditions: air temperature 83 degrees, relative humidity 66 percent, barometer 29.24 inches, adjusted altitude 3,374 feet, track temperature 101 degrees.

Spiess with a good looking pass to go to the number 10 spot. Steve Spiess' incremental times: 60ft-0.993 sec., 330ft-2.803, 660ft-4.317/162.76 mph, 1,000ft-5.623. Gaines gets it down the track this time, but don't think it will stay in the show.

Johnson with severe tire shake as soon as he let the clutch out and then made a quick move toward the centerline. Humphreys gets down the track and into the show for now...Justin Humphreys' incremental times: 60ft-1.001 sec., 330ft-2.818, 660ft-4.333/162.35 mph, 1,000ft-5.641.

Right Lane: Kenny Delco Runs 6.890/200.80, Now #17; No Prior Run

Gray matches Spiess' short time for quickest of the session and he gets into the top half of the field. Johnny Gray's incremental times: 60ft-0.993 sec., 330ft-2.804, 660ft-4.312/163.59 mph, 1,000ft-5.611. Delco slows from his time yesterday and he will not get into the show.

Right Lane: Bob Benza Runs 6.787/202.97, Now #16; No Prior Run

Benza gets into the show for now and that bumps out Gaines. Bob Benza's incremental times: 60ft-0.996 sec., 330ft-2.831, 660ft-4.360/161.07 mph, 1,000ft-5.677. Gaydosh slows from his time yesterday.

Right Lane: Dave Northrop Runs 19.291/40.63, Now #22; No Prior Run

Ondrejko with the quickest short time of the session and he gets into the show. Up to the number 11 spot. Ryan Ondrejko's incremental times: 60ft-0.985 sec., 330ft-2.800, 660ft-4.316/162.49 mph, 1,000ft-5.624. Northrop shook the tires real hard and clicked it off.

Johnson spins the tires right off the starting line and gets out of the groove, but reels it in, but doesn't improve on his time from yesterday. Krisher with the quickest pass of the round to move into the top half of the show.

Right Lane: Greg Stanfield Runs 6.736/205.07, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.705/205.76, Was #5

Stanfield slows from his time yesterday and Coughlin moves into the top half of the show. Jeg Coughlin's incremental times: 60ft-1.007 sec., 330ft-2.824, 660ft-4.328/163.93 mph, 1,000ft-5.622.
