MOHNTON, Pa. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 25th annual Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Kenny Delco Runs 6.868/201.16, Now #1
Right Lane: John Gaydosh Jr Runs 6.887/199.35, Now #2

Weather conditions: air temperature 76 degrees, relative humidity 81 percent, barometer 29.29 inches, adjusted altitude 2,780 feet, track temperature 86 degrees.

Our first pair of Pro Stock cars at the ready line and a couple clean passes. Kenny Delco's incremental times: 60ft-1.024 sec., 330ft-2.878, 660ft-4.420/159.55 mph, 1,000ft-5.748.
John Gaydosh Jr's incremental times: 60ft-1.005 sec., 330ft-2.867, 660ft-4.420/158.35 mph, 1,000ft-5.758.

Spiess broke on the burnout and can't get the car back to the starting line. Humphreys car with a big bang as he was about to shift into high gear.

Right Lane: Rodger Brogdon Runs 6.718/205.57, Now #2

Gaines with problems, and slowed. Brogdon with a nice pass and he goes to the number two spot. Rodger Brogdon's incremental times: 60ft-1.000 sec., 330ft-2.814, 660ft-4.322/163.31 mph, 1,000ft-5.623.
