Dixon is 9 - 3 against Lucas in prior events and this is the first time they have faced each other in a final round. Lucas with a slight starting line advantage and never trailed to win his second National event of his career and this year. He runs another career best E.T. and has run his third career best E.T. the last three rounds today. Morgan Lucas' incremental times: 60ft-0.837 sec., 330ft-2.140, 660ft-3.042/279.09 mph.
