A classic blower vs nitro clash here that will produce yet another first time winner in this category at the "Big GO". Lucas was first off the line and then Howard began shaking the tires to obviate any chance of running down the fuel burner. Shelly had a better 60' clocking and was quicker to the 330' mark but fell further back from then on to trail by around 40 feet in the lights. This is Morgan Lucas' third victory in four final rounds at national events.
