We wrap up the 2008 TAD season with a classic battle. Reichert, the new 2008 Champion with an A/FD in the right lane and likely the quickest TAD, Whiteley, in the left lane. Reichert is looking to make history with four consecutive final round wins. He is currently tied with DaPoso and Santos with three each.

It's not to be, as Whiteley gets away first and pulls steadily ahead to the finish line for the easy win. Reichert was in trouble after mid-track and he has to lift as the dragster almost crosses the center line near the 1000-ft. mark. Jim Whiteley is the 2008 NHRA Finals Top Alcohol Dragster Champion.
