POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 44th annual Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals:

Rivas is 2-0 against Pippin in prior events and now he pushes that to 3-0. That round win will keep Rivas in the hunt for the
title.

Ellis is 8 - 5 against Johnson in prior events. They meet here and Johnson takes a tiny lead at the hit but Ellis caught him

Sampey has bike problems again as the bike refused to rpm on the burnout. She staged but when the tree came down her bike never
moved. Angelle goes winless for 2008. Treble went 7.067 and would have been a handful.
