LAS VEGAS - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, Eighth annual ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals:

Connolly is 12 - 5 against Johnson in prior events, and 6 - 3 in round one meetings. They have met three times this year and Connolly has won all three of them. WJ is out of the gate first, but Connolly had the lead by the time they went by the Christmas tree. Connolly with his quickest pass of the weekend for the win by 11 feet.
