MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Pro Modified at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 16th annual O'Reilly NHRA Mid-South Nationals presented by Pennzoil:

The big time staging battle here a least one minute and then Patterson goes in first and is out of the gate first. Jenkins is able to chase him down around 500 feet and then Patterson got out of the groove and real close to the wall. He did a great job of driving to keep it off the wall. Jenkins with his quickest pass of the weekend.

Stott is out of the gate first, but Smith chased him down just before half track and motored on through for the win and will have lane choice in the final.
