MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 21st annual O'Reilly Mid-South Nationals presented by Pennzoil:

Weather conditions: air temperature 83 degrees, relative humidity 42 percent, barometer 29.80 inches, adjusted altitude 2,340 feet, track temperature 103 degrees.

Coughlin won here in 2000 and 2003. Coughlin is 6 - 2 against Humphreys in prior events, and 3 - 1 in round one meetings. Humphreys with problems on the burnout and backs up and does it again. Humphreys with the starting line advantage and the lead until half track, and that was when Coughlin drove by him and takes the win.

Morgan has been to all 21 races here in Memphis and he won here in 1990. Yates is 27 - 12 against Morgan in prior events, and 16 - 7 advantage in round one meetings. Morgan made a quick move toward the wall and he reeled it in and took the win by 0.0274 seconds (approximately 8 feet).

Line with the quickest pass of the round and his quickest pass of the weekend.
