MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 21st annual O'Reilly Mid-South Nationals presented by Pennzoil listing lane, rider name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: GT Tonglet Runs 7.298/182.90, Now #1
Right Lane: Redell Harris Runs 7.336/175.11, Now #2

3:06 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 82 degrees, relative humidity 30 percent, barometer 29.69 inches, adjusted altitude 2,242 feet, track temperature 112 degrees.

Left Lane: Michael Phillips Runs 7.088/190.97, Now #1
Right Lane: David Hope Runs 7.185/181.67, Now #2

Phillips spins the tire a little off the line, gets a little out of the groove, but still makes a decent pass.

Left Lane: Joe DeSantis Runs 7.071/187.13, Now #1
Right Lane: Shawn Gann Runs 7.252/184.22, Now #4

Gann gets out of the groove early, drifts to the left, and gets close to the centerline near the end of the run.

Left Lane: Angie McBride Runs 7.160/182.16, Now #4
Right Lane: Junior Pippin Runs 7.137/180.74, Now #3

McBirdes bike was fish-tailing for the first 200 feet of the run.

Stoffer goes right down the groove and takes the top spot for now.
