ENNIS, Texas -- Pro Mod driver Raymond Vettel Jr., of Phillips, Neb., was transported to Baylor University Medical Center for evaluation after his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda lost control and crashed during Friday's second session of qualifying for the JEGS ProMod Challenge exhibition series.

Vettel was transported by emergency helicopter from Texas Motorplex.
