CONCORD, N.C. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, Inaugural NHRA Carolinas Nationals:

Weather conditions: air temperature 88 degrees, relative humidity 50 percent, barometer 29.21 inches, adjusted altitude 3,620 feet, track temperature 122 degrees.

These drivers have never raced each other in competition. Wells is red on the start and Johnson will continue to move up the points sheet with this round win. Johnson makes very stout run and he will have to see who he going to run in the next round.

DeSantis takes a nice lead at the start but didn't have enough bike to hold off the hard charging Sampey. Angelle will take her Buell into the next round, and with this round victory earns more of those crucial points.

We have a staging duel, Smith goes in first, Arana follows. Arana gets a big edge at the start, and he never looked back as Smith didn't have enough to run him down, they real identical ETs that will go down in the record books as a hole shot win. Arana will have lane choice over Johnson next round.

Buell vs Harley, Krawiec gets out of the gate first and he never looks back. Krawiec goes low et for the round and he will have lane choice over Sampey in the semi-finals.
