Rick Brown has no CIC penalty; Peter Biondo has a 0.08 CIC penalty. The winner of the pair will take on Bertozzi in the next round. Biondo leaves first but doesn't have enough car to hold off Brown as the truck is able to run him down. Rick Brown's MOV: 0.0323 seconds (approximately 7 feet).

Bruno Massel has a 0.04 CIC penalty; Arnie Martel has a 0.09 CIC penalty. Martel has the advantage on the line and he keeps at the finish line. Massel was just dead late and it cost him the round win.

Good race here as Pritchett gets the edge off the start, Sharp is really trying to run him down before the finish but it won't happen. Pritchett will face Martel in the semi-finals. Larry Pritchett's MOV: 0.0359 seconds (approximately 8 feet).
