Beckman is going to his third straight final round and has managed to move himself from 9th in the countdown points to #6 before the day was over. In 57 events Beckman has reached the finals nine times and has won five times. Hight rolled it in really deep on his last lurch forward. No red and away they went. Beckman had a lead at 330ft but he began to spin the tires and fell back. Hight took the lead and held on for the win even though he was hazing the tires at the top end. Congratulations to the entire JFR operation for a great weekend. Congratulations to the DSR/Beckman team as well for a great Indy that fell just one round short.
