MOHNTON, Pa.-- Well, it wouldn't be an NHRA race without rain and we have some here at Maple Grove Raceway this morning. Yesterday, the weather forecasters were saying we'd have rain this evening but that it would be clear all day. They were wrong. It started raining early this morning and it is still raining at 9:15 am. Some weather reports this morning call for the rain to end sometime this morning while others say it is going to rain until 6:00 or 7:00 pm.

There have been changes made to the Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car qualifying orders. Drivers who did not return here this weekend were withdrawn from the event and removed from the qualifying order. There are 14 Top Alcohol Funny Cars here and they've been placed on a 14-car ladder with no first-round byes. Top Alcohol Dragster has a full field of 16 cars in the pits.
