Iantorno needed to beat the bump time of 7.390 seconds to make the field. His run looked okay but was not quick enough to make the field.

Left Lane: Mike Berry Runs 7.225/186.00, Now #7; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Sean Conner Runs 7.524/181.35, Now #19; Best prior run: 8.728/105.75, Was #22

Neither rider was in the field before this session. When they were each done their second run of the event, Berry was quick enough to make it in, Conner was not.

Right Lane: Steve Johnson Runs 7.237/185.28, Now #9; Best prior run: 7.816/177.35, Was #23

DeTurck launched and the bike's engine quit. Johnson had a clean run and made it into the middle of the field.

Left Lane: Angelle Savoie Runs 7.125/182.95, Now #1; Best prior run: 11.980/67.22, Was #26
Right Lane: Josh Helvie Runs 7.534/159.48, Now #20; Best prior run: 7.407/181.15, Was #19

Neither Savoie nor Helvie was in the field and needed to run better than the 7.332 second bump time to make the field. Savoie had a strong run and went from being far outside to field to the number one qualifier so far. Helvie was slower than his first session time and stayed outside the top 16.

Left Lane: Andrew Hines Runs 7.182/189.52, Now #7; Best prior run: 7.779/146.04, Was #23
Right Lane: Connie Cohen Runs 7.454/172.45, Now #19; Best prior run: 7.389/166.93, Was #18

Hines' Harley-powered bike thundered down the strip and got him into the middle of the field. Cohen was not quick enough to make it into the field. She'll have one more chance later on, weather permitting.

Left Lane: Ryan Schnitz Runs 7.310/181.96, Now #18; Best prior run: 7.390/178.07, Was #20

Grimes lost part of his exhaust as soon as he launched. Without it, he was quick enough to edge into the field. He's now in the 15th spot. Schnitz got bumped out of the field earlier this session and was not quick enough to get back in.

Left Lane: Reggie Showers Runs 7.189/185.15, Now #8; Best prior run: 7.250/185.03, Was #13
Right Lane: Karen Stoffer Runs 8.050/117.47, Now #14; Best prior run: 7.287/181.84, Was #14

Left Lane: Blaine Hale Runs 7.313/182.38, Now #13; Best prior run: 7.242/185.31, Was #13
Right Lane: Antron Brown Runs 7.278/177.09, Now #9; Best prior run: 7.190/185.31, Was #9

A pair of clean runs that had no effect on the qualifying order.

Left Lane: GT Tonglet Runs 7.240/184.37, Now #11; Best prior run: 7.225/177.00, Was #11
Right Lane: Craig Treble Runs 7.981/125.15, Now #4; Best prior run: 7.170/185.43, Was #4

Treble's run looked okay but never got up to speed. Tonglet was not as quick as he was in the first session three weeks ago and both will stay where they were in the order.

Left Lane: Geno Scali Runs 10.617/77.92, Now #6; Best prior run: 7.175/182.62, Was #6
Right Lane: Fred Collis Runs 7.117/186.79, Now #1; Best prior run: 7.152/185.95, Was #3

Collis took over the top spot for now with a great run down the middle of his lane. Scali started to slow at 330 feet and cruised the rest of the way down the track.

Left Lane: Michael Phillips Runs 7.214/187.42, Now #5; Best prior run: 7.174/187.50, Was #5
Right Lane: Shawn Gann Runs 7.159/186.46, Now #3; Best prior run: 7.135/183.34, Was #3

Gann was the number one qualifier before the session began and he wanted to get back to the top spot. He drifted out of the groove and will have to stay in the third spot for now. Phillips drifted a bit too and did not improve on his first round time.
