8:14 PM - The air temperature was 43 degrees at 83 percent humidity, with the barometric pressure at 30.03 inches and rising.

Mullins was not able to answer the call so Manzo had a competition single for the Top Alcohol Funny car win. There was a lot of dew on Manzo's car body when he staged. He launched, got loose and backed off the throttle to take the win. Manzo clinched the Top Alcohol championship today for his seventh consecutive championship.
