7:50 p.m. - We are down to the last final round of what turned out to be a rather somber race weekend. As times it did not look like we were going to get this race done, but we are about to finish it.

DeAngelis and Harker came off the starting line together. DeAngelis was leading at 60 feet but then started to shake the rear tires. Harker took the lead before they reached 330 feet and then pulled away for the first national event win of her career.

That's it for the Lucas Oil NHRA SuperNational here in Englishtown. There was a lot of good racing here but the death of Scott Kalitta overshadowed everything else.
