ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. --

Lee Zane
Lee Zane of Perry Hall, Maryland will make his Pro Stock driving debut at the Lucas Oil Supernationals at Englishtown, New Jersey, June 19-22. Zane will be driving a 2007 Pontiac GTO owned by Jack Gaydosh with power provided by Tom Martino.

Zane stated "We are just trying to get our feet wet, and live a dream I have had for many years. Thanks to Jack Gaydosh for the chance to just be there at a home track and make a pro debut in front of a lot of family and friends. I'll be happy with 4 decent runs; I have already done more than ever expected."

Zane was the 2004 Lucas Oil World Champ in Stock Eliminator and the 2007 Division 1 Champ in that same class. He has won eight national events and 14 divisional events in the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. He is one of only six racers to win national events in both Stock and Competition Eliminator classes. The others to do so include current Pro Stock driver Greg Stanfield, as well as Grant Lewis, Jeff Taylor, David Rampy, and Tommy Grove. Zane's number in the Pro Stock class, 1028, was previously used by Frank Aragona, Sr., father of Frank Aragona, Jr., 2007 Lucas Oil World Champ in Competition Eliminator.

Zane will be receiving support at Englishtown from Coppermine Applicators, Inc. www.coppermineapplicators.com, Gaydosh Performance www.gaydoshperformance.com, and Maryland Performance Specialties www.marylandperformancespecialties.com.
