Drag Race Central contributor Norm Froscher was again a winner in the national American Auto Racing Writers and Broadcasters (AARWBA) media competition announced at the organizations annual breakfast prior to the Indianapolis 500.

Froscher, a free-lance writer living in Gainesville, FL, won second place in the on-line technical for a piece in DRC following last year's ACDelco Gatornationals on June 19, titled "Gainesville Tower Gets the Wrecking Ball."

Froscher also was awarded second place in newspaper technical for a piece in the Gainesville Sun on the same subject, plus a look at record breaking attendance for "More Additions to Gainesville Planned" on March 20, 2007.

Froscher, a former president of the 500-member AARWBA, who was inducted into the NHRA Div. 2 Hall of Fame in January, will receive cash awards and certificates for his winning stories.
