ENNIS, Texas - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Pro Modified at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 18th annual O'Reilly Fall Nationals presented by Castrol Syntec listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Tim McAmis Runs 6.414/224.21, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.294/224.77, Was #5
Right Lane: Mike Ashley Runs 6.551/178.57, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.292/224.38, Was #4

A pair of decent runs for the conditions but neither good enough to improve.

Left Lane: Dan Rowe Runs 6.357/219.67, Now #14; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Scott Ray Runs 6.319/222.44, Now #8; No Prior Run

The weather is taking it's toll, every car seems to be slowly from their earlier runs.

McGinnis is the first to improve but he still doesn't make it in the show.

Castellana gets out of shape and has to shut down early.

Radford's car was popping at every gear change. He makes his quickest run of the weekend but still can't get in the show. Kuhns gets about 1000 feet out and pops the burst panel.

Smith hits the throttle, shakes the tires severely and has to give up on the run.
