ENNIS, Texas - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Screamin' Eagle Nitro Harley at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 18th annual O'Reilly Fall Nationals presented by Castrol Syntec listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Johnny Mancuso Runs 6.518/209.93, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.464/213.57, Was #3
Right Lane: Mark Cox Runs 6.584/180.21, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.578/208.57, Was #8

No help for either of these two.

Left Lane: Jack Romine Runs 6.522/212.46, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.513/214.54, Was #6
Right Lane: Joe Scatella Runs 8.352/161.26, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.898/208.52, Was #11

Scatella got out of the groove and close to the centerline, but stayed with it. No help for Romine.

Left Lane: Doug Vancil Runs 6.380/216.86, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.505/214.28, Was #5
Right Lane: Mike Romine Runs 6.525/208.23, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.484/213.27, Was #4

Vancil with his first straight pass of the weekend and he goes to the head of the pack.

Right Lane: Bill Furr Runs 6.463/216.29, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.457/216.34, Was #3

Stordeur takes back the number one spot with nice looking pass.

Tharpe with his best pass of the weekend and that gets him in the show and bumps out Cox.

Kile with his best pass of the weekend and he will not make the show.

Right Lane: Larry Brancaccio Runs 6.889/178.39, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.545/212.56, Was #7

That wraps up Nitro Harley qualifying with Stordeur in the number one spot and Tharpe rounds out the top eight.
