Skuza is 2-12 in final rounds for his career. His last win was five years ago in Maple Grove, that win coming against Force. Skuza has won more rounds in the last four races than any other funny car driver. Force is trying to win for the sixth time at the Texas Motorplex and for the fourth time in seven years. If he wins, it will be his 109th victory. Going into this round , he has won 51 rounds at the Motorplex. They leave together and stay even through the sixty-foot mark, then Force starts pulling away.
