BRISTOL, Tenn. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, Eighth annual O'Reilly NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals presented by Q:

Gaines is 3 - 0 against Nobile in prior events. Nobile was real loose as soon as he let the clutch out and clicked it off. He then stopped about half track, so he didn't get a time. Gaines with a great light and the win.

This is the first time Krisher and Gray have faced each other in eliminations. Gray turned on the red light and Krisher moves into the semifinals.

Anderson is 17 - 11 against Connolly in prior events, and Anderson holds a five to two in round two match ups. Anderson turned on the red light and Connolly gets the freebie. Connolly will give up lane choice in the semifinal.

Edwards is 6 - 2 against Stanfield in prior events. Edwards with another perfect reaction time, his third this year. Stanfield was able to chase him down by 200 feet and then it was all Stanfield. He runs an identical E.T. and mph as Gaines, so I believe Gaines will get lane choice because he did it first.
