GALAX, Va. --

Michelle Furr, from Galax, Va., partnered with custom motorcycle builder SinFuel Choppers for the last two races of the 2007 IHRA Drag Racing season. That introductory period gave the marketing partnership a jumpstart on the new year ahead. Furr, who was also partnered with Torco Race Fuels throughout 2007, brings a friendly warmth to personally interacting with fans and fellow racers to spread the message of her marketing partners.

SinFuel Choppers (sinfuelchoppers.com) is a family owned and operated custom motorcycle and apparel company, started by Dan King and his son Deek'n. The bikes are hand-crafted and fabricated from the shop floor up to make each chopper a true one-off creation. SinFuel Gear offers extreme "Apparel For Your Adrenaline Rush."T

"Dan & Deek'n are just awesome, and their bikes are unbelievable," Furr beamed. "We are so excited and honored to be part of the SinFuel Choppers team next year."

Furr started competing in IHRA's Hot Rod category in 2004, and earned recognition as a finalist in the SBRA World Bracket Finals in the same year. She hit the pages of Drag Review magazine after winning an all-female Hot Rod final round at the 2005 IHRA Motor City Nationals. Furr went on to finish 7th in the World, and in 2006, made the Top 10 in her rookie year in the highly competitive IHRA Division 9 Top Dragster ranks.

Furr has enjoyed successful relationships with a variety of marketing partners including Motor Mile Dragway, the theatrical movie release Madison, Moser Engineering, and a host of other supporters.

Like SinFuel Choppers, Furr Racing is operated by a close-knit family. While Michelle wheels both the Hot Rod '68 Camaro SS and the Top Dragster '02 Undercover dragster, husband Rick turns the wrenches. Their children, Madilyn and Adiayn provide loving support. Madilyn, 8, takes on a driver's role in 2008 as well, joining the IHRA Division 9 Junior Dragster circuit, opening up the exciting possibility of a mother-daughter Ironman-winning team.

"I grew up at the race track with my father [Ron Privett], so Madie's the third generation of racers in our family," said Furr. "Madie got to run two races, and she won her very first round of competition - against a 17-year old! Nothing I have accomplished compares to the feeling I had when I saw her win light come on. We were so proud. Now I know how my father feels!"

Furr Racing is proud to be associated with many quality marketing partners, including SinFuel Choppers, Torco Race Fuels, Moser Engineering, Hussey Copper Gaskets, Undercover Motorsports, Auto Meter, Jesel Valvetrain Innovation, Mr. Gasket, Accel, Mallory, Performance Torque Converters, Crane Cams, Jeg's and Smith Brothers Pushrods. Furr also thanked Goodyear Tires, Richmond Gear, CSR, Holley, #1 Stop, B&M Shifters, Graphic Assault, and StagingLight.com.
