MORRISON, Colo. --
For each shoot, PINKS All Out will invite several hundred grass roots drag racers to qualify for a shot at the final PINKS All Out 16, where competitors race for the lion's share of an $18,000 overall purse ($10,000 to win) and a new NAPA tool chest. Hosted by creator and executive producer Rich Christensen and produced by Pullin Television out of Los Angeles, the television show rigors its on-air technical advisors (brothers Nate and Adam Pritchett) to select a field of 16 cars based upon a subjective elapsed-time grouping determined through two time-trial sessions. Prior to each Saturday shoot, racers will have the opportunity to pre-register their race cars and take part in a Friday test n' tune. A production crew of nearly 100 people work to build a SPEED Channel show in one evening. The PINKS All Out at-track experience offers a variety of exhibitions and competitions, including the Purifoy Chevrolet Fast 16 and Five-R Quick 16 programs, providing on-track activities throughout the Saturday shoot. In addition, a midway area provides local vendors, manufacturers, supporters and local groups to elevate its involvement and showcase their wares or talents, offering a variety of entertainment on and off the track.
"I can't wait to get to Bandimere," said Nate Pritchett, technical advisor of PINKS All Out. "It's one of those tracks you always hear about, about the great racing, how beautiful the area is and how well the track is run. We should have a great time in Denver, and I am really looking forward to getting out there."
