BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Junior Fuel B at the California Hot Rod Reunion, 16th California Hotrod Reunion, presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Bud Hammer Runs 7.246/184.01, Now #1
Right Lane: Rich Fenton Runs 7.403/179.53, Now #2

2:19 p.m. Junior Fuel 'B' is first out for dragster qualifying. We've actually lost a little bit of time to rain this afternoon but it's supposed to clear out for the rest of the weekend.

Right Lane: Fred Notkza Runs 7.195/186.37, Now #1

Notkza goes to the top spot.

Left Lane: Don Enriquez Runs 7.394/180.14, Now #3
Right Lane: Neil O'Kane Runs 8.133/163.63, Now #5

O'Kane is well off the pace but Enriquez blows some of the cobwebs out.

Left Lane: John Rasmussen Runs 7.165/187.42, Now #1
Right Lane: Ward Francev Runs 7.610/170.13, Now #6

Rasmussen puts Notkza down a spot in the field.
