4:12 PM The clouds have covered the sky completely and we're not that far from sunset. The finalists for the Budweiser Shootout come to life. This is one time that Tony doesn't have lane choice and it might not happen again this weekend. This run is for the 100K and it also counts in the final qualifying session. Believe it or not this one was settled on the starting line. The ETs on the board don't have the last number so they both show 4.47. Kalitta was first off the line and held the lead all the way to the stripe. Doug Kalitta's MOV: 0.0081 seconds (approximately 4 feet). Quickest side by side run in history and it comes in the Budweiser Shootout. Fantastic finish!
