POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock Bike at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 39th annual Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals:

12:39 PM The bikes are out of the gate for their first round. Johnson is off first but has problems with second gear. Conner got out of the groove and had to horse the bike back into the middle. That was all that Johnson needed to come from behind.

Scali has problems but gets away with the win because DeSantis has problems with his bike and he never left the line.

Gann goes red by .006 and Tonglet gets a really nice pass on the Harley.

Treble has got the 7.07 motor back into the bike after qualifying. He put it away after the qualifying pass and now it's running just like it did on Friday. He will have choice over Steve Johnson next round.

Stoffer turns on the red and Angelle gets a free pass to meet Tonglet in round two. He has choice in the matchup.
