CLERMONT, Ind. - Results of final, round 2 eliminations in Pro RWD at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 53rd annual Mac Tools U.S. Nationals:

It's a battle of eastern racers and Cougar vs Mazda (Ranger clone for those of you keeping score at home).

Cruz leaves first by a bunch. His Cougar starts breaking up and puffing smoke just before half track and Rojas shoots by.

Boris wins by a train length but starts smokingly heavily on the big end and across the finish line.

The track crew is rolling for a cleanup in both lanes with the emphasis on the right lane.

I'll give it to the FWD guys - that was a great show.
