Worsham won't play spoiler in the Countdown today.He gets a small lead over Ashley off the line and then the tires go up in smoke. He tries to pump it, but Ashley is long gone and hard to find. Ashley makes a nice pass for the very hot track conditions.

Pedregon has a signifant 7/3 advantage over Hight in prior encounters, but in almost a repeat of the prior pair, he loses to tire smoke right off the line. Hight gave up the starting line advantage and then catchs a slowing Pegregon before sixty feet. Hight's engine needs a little longer fuze on the top end and he will give up lane choice to Ashley in the final rounsd.
