Ray had a broken rocker arm after round one and his crew thrashed to get here, but when he fired the car it was spraying fluid and they shut it off. Commisso made a hard charge on the single, then started to get out of shape at half track and clicked it off.

Another single - Payne's car never fired. It would have been a good race, hernandez right down the groove to earn lane choice against Seward in the semifinals.

Last pair. Critchley's car got up on the tires and started to shake about 100 feet out. Cannon laid down low ET of the round and will have lane choice against Commisso in the semifinals.
