Both are running AJ power, both are good leavers, and Stevens enjoys an 8-4 edge against Johnson.

Both had great lights and AJ had the better power today, pulling away for the win. Allen Johnson's incremental margins: 60ft(0.010), 330 ft(0.029), 660ft(0.041), 1,000ft(0.049). MOV: 0.0555 seconds (approximately 17 feet).

Line held a 5-4 edge against WJ, who posted his 829th round win earlier today.

Line staged so shallow that the stage bulb flickered a couple times, then left on Johnson and pulled away for an easy win with low ET of eliminations (so far).

Coughlin came in with had a 4-0 edge against Stanfield in prior races.

Stanfield left on Coughlin, but not by much, and Coughlin slowly edged ahead for a close win. Jeg Coughlin's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.013), 330 ft(-0.003), 660ft(0.005), 1,000ft(0.012). MOV: 0.0184 seconds (approximately 6 feet). Coughlin faces Line in the semifinals, his first semifinals since the final race of the '05 season.

They left right together, then Anderson's car got the wheels up and shook while Connolly was smooth and straight to earn lane choice against Allen Johnson in the semifinals, by four thousandths.
