CHANDLER, Ariz. - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 23rd annual Checker Schuck's Kragen NHRA Nationals presented by Castrol listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Erica Enders Runs 6.648/207.02, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.697/206.20, Was #12
Right Lane: Justin Humphreys Runs 6.787/205.88, Now #22; Best prior run: 6.839/204.76, Was #23
Weather conditions: air temperature 70 degrees, relative humidity 17 percent, barometer 29.10 inches, adjusted altitude 1,815 feet, track temperature 84 degrees.
Enders with a great
60-foot time and vaults into the number two spot. Erica Enders' incremental times: 60ft-0.971

Johnson shook right off the starting line and clicked it off. Edwards with a nice pass to jump into the top half of the show. Mike Edwards' incremental times: 60ft-0.974 sec., 330ft-2.782, 660ft-4.284/164.01mph, 1,000ft-5.576
Left Lane: Gordie Rivera Runs 6.808/202.94, Now #24; Best prior run: 6.884/201.55, Was #24
Right Lane: Dwayne Rice Runs 6.784/205.07, Now #22; Best prior run: 6.794/201.22, Was #23
Rivera gets out of the groove and close to the wall, but stays with it. Rice with his best pass of the weekend.
Left Lane: Tony Rizzo Runs 6.719/206.04, Now #20; Best prior run: 6.742/204.60, Was #20
Right Lane: Ben Watson Runs 14.480/58.19, Now #21; Best prior run: 6.744/205.66, Was #21
Watson shook and shut off. Rizzo with his best pass of the weekend.
Left Lane: Ron Krisher Runs 6.718/206.35, Now #19; Best prior run: 6.715/206.35, Was #19
Right Lane: Kurt Johnson Runs 6.677/207.27, Now #9; Best prior run: 6.713/206.67, Was #18
Krisher was out of the groove and close to the centerline, but stayed with it. Johnson with a nice pass to get into the show and that will bump out Morgan. Allen Johnson is on the bump spot at 6.705.

Right Lane: Larry Morgan Runs 6.708/206.32, Now #18; Best prior run: 6.709/205.91, Was #17
Stanfield with a great looking pass to get into the show in the3 top half of the field. Greg Stanfield's incremental times: 60ft-0.982 sec., 330ft-2.784, 660ft-4.281/164.77mph, 1,000ft-5.569 Morgan improves, but not enough to get into the show.

Gaines does what he wanted to do, get off the bubble.

Connolly gets into the top half of the field.
Left Lane: Kenny Koretsky Runs 8.879/105.64, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.659/207.59, Was #7

Koretsky with problems right off the starting line, and clicks it off. No help here for Coughlin.
